Why we built HaninGosu
Connecting Korean Americans with Korean-speaking professionals.
The problem we saw
2.2 million Korean Americans live in the United States.
Professionals in every field exist, but it's hard to know where they are, who actually speaks Korean, and who has handled Korean clients before.
KakaoTalk group chats. Korean community boards. Church recommendations.
That's how it has worked until now.
We thought scattered information should live in one place.
What we do differently
- 1Experts who submit a license receive a badge
- 2We link to the issuing authority so you can verify the license yourself
- 3We are clear that medical and legal categories are an advertising platform
- 4Search results are sorted by distance and rating

Who built this
When I first arrived in the US, handling taxes and legal matters in English was the hardest part. Finding a Korean-speaking professional wasn't easy either.
2.2 million Korean Americans face the same challenge.
That's why HaninGosu exists.
